What comes to mind when you hear the word timeless? Perhaps it's the sound of beautiful melodies strung together like pearls, paired with a silk, smooth voice. Maybe it's the 'all is right with the world' feeling you get when you hideaway from a rainy day with tea and your favorite book. While those tender moments may bring with them unexplainable nostalgia, they leave us longing for something more. Because in no time, voices that were once sweet, age and grow weak. And all too soon, cloudy, quiet days are hurried away by the demands of sunrise. So then, is there anything that is truly timeless?

I surely believe so.

Matter of fact, I believe timelessness not to be a one hit wonder, or mere memory of nostalgia. It is more frequent and everyday than that. Anything we put our hands to can become timeless. I believe there are songs that can last forever without ever having reached another's ear and even the shortest, unnoticed life can live on. For no work wrought in Christ's name and with love for Him is ever lost. No life lived for His sake ever dies.
